Echo South Essex Garden Centre Of The Year Competition
We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who nominated us for the Echo’s Garden Centre of the Year Competition. Our society store has made it into the final 9 and it is a massive honour to make it this far. 

If you would like to vote for us in the finals, a voting form will be available in every edition of the Echo until 2nd April with submissions being accepted until 6th April.

Now In Store

Geraniums Basket Plants and bedding
Grow Bags £2.40, Compost £5, John Innes no.2 & no.3 £4.50, Ericaceous £3.60, Bark £4.75, Grit £4, and Horse Manure £3.80.
We also have a new range of pots which we are selling at up to 15% off RRP. Large £20 medium £15 smaller ones £8 and £5. A full set (1 of each size) is £45 and you can mix and match colours.

Store Open

The society store is now open. Seed potatoes, onion & shallot sets, and our usual stock of seed are available and the membership fee is now due, this remains at £2.50 for 2021. Please keep your 2020 schedule for the shows as all categories will be the same. We will not be printing a 2021 schedule but members will receive an extended paper newsletter with information about the year’s events.

Renewing Membership Online

For anyone who is unable to come to the store to renew their membership we are now offering an online sign up service. Once the sign up form has been completed you will receive an email invoice and when this is paid we’ll get out your membership card as soon as we can. Click here for the sign up form.

Rattan Hanging Baskets

We are now taking orders in store for the Ratten hanging baskets. Each basket contains approximately 15 plants and are of very high quality. The 14” baskets will be around £18 each and a 16” is available at around £24 each (based on last years prices). This year we will also be taking orders online, to do so please click here.
